Go hire Blood Rayne, Alone in the Dark and House of the Dead from your dvd store.

Think that will answer your question :P

The guy only makes movies because he gets companies in Germany, who get special tax breaks for supporting German film companies (Uwe Boll's film company is based in Germany), to support him. So he buys up cheap game licenses and makes really really really bad films based on them.
