Does it seem like there has been a shortage of quality games as of late? Maybe the industry is in a lull. Maybe my tastes have chaged. Maybe it's because I'm older. Maybe it's everything above. I just can't seem to enjoy recent games like I have enjoyed other games in the past.

The only game I'm looking forward to at the moment is "Fallout: New Vegas". What is everyone else looking forward to, if any?


Recent titles I've played:
StarCraft 2 Beta - much like the first one, except updated graphics and units. If you didn't like the rush strategy in SC1, you'll absolutely hate it in SC2 because rushing is even faster and more difficult to recover from if you are on the losing side. Otherwise, it's still fun, and the custom maps like base defense, tower defense, etc keep it interesting for those less inclined to stick with PvP maps.

Metro 2033 - I actually liked the story, and the gameplay was well-done. Very similiar to Fallout 3, except with a linear storyline and better graphics.

Torchlight - from some of the people who worked on Diablo 2 and World of Warcraft, this title features single-player RPG / dungeon crawling and looks and feels like you're playing WoW, except you're not. It was a fun, cheap distraction at $9.99 (Steam promo price at the time).

Honestly, I'd love for a new MMO to come out that I can get behind. I tried Aion and Warhammer and got bored damn quick. I'm really looking forward to starting up again with WoW:Cataclysm. Making a Goblin something, maybe hunter. Wow gets pretty boring to me quick, but Im hoping I can start fresh and get a good 6 months to a year when they completely redu the lower level experience.

Im not 100% sold on Starwars, but I'll give it a try. Other than that, Im not really waiting for anything. I've got a backlog of PS3 and 360 games to play.

Still playing allot of BF:BC2, played a few times with Elazor to.

Just played through RE5 cause it was heavily discounted on Steam, enjoyed it but the standing still to shoot thing was a terrible mistake.

Other than that, narda.

Outside of Starcraft 2, I'm not anticipating much. Just recently started playing Champions Online. It's easier than WoW but it's a nice cyber vacation spot.

The beta of CO was enough for me. Fun combat style, but not much substance.
